Like Chernobyl, another Soviet-designed plant, Metsamor has no containment structure, and its seismic location endangers future safety in the area. Akın displayed photographs of ancient stones from Metsamor, detecting radiation beams reflected by these artifacts and transforming the data into visualized drawings, blending archaeology, fine arts, and nuclear science.”
